The Hardy County Public Service District was created in 1974 as a public water and sewer utility for Hardy County.  Currently the District provides public water service to over 2,000 customers and sewer service in the Baker area.  The board consists of three board members who are appointed by the Hardy County Commission for six-year terms.  Regular board meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month beginning at 4:30 p.m. at the office of the District.  If the first Wednesday is a holiday, the meeting will be held on the second Wednesday.  The purpose of these regular meetings is to conduct regular business.  The Agenda for each regular meeting will be posted at least 72 hours prior to the meeting.  All board meetings are open to the public.
